But they aren't free-for-alls, the game randomly chooses 24 ships from either side to make it even. Later on, you'll have massive player-vs-player battles to decide who owns ports in the game. If you do choose a country, you can be a naval officer, privateer, or freetrader. In Pirates, you can choose to belong to France, Britain or Spain - OR you can be a pirate with no allegiance as you roam the Caribbean of 1720. With World of Warcraft exercising a clear dominance over the traditional MMO format, it's about time someone did something different. ![]()
